Ainsley's Angels 5K brings over 100 runners together
MOORHEAD -- Over 100 people were up bright and early Saturday morning to run for a good cause.
It was the first inaugural "Ainsley's Angels Sunrise 5K" Saturday morning.
Ainsley's Angels is a national effort across 28 states to bring inclusion to people with disabilities.
One of the featured runner's to help push participants was our very own First News Anchor Riley Miller.
The Sunrise 5K was actually part of a way to send off one New York man and his son.
They'll journey down the Mississippi River to finish in Louisiana on July 29th to raise money and awareness.
"That's what it's all about, getting kids that might not be involved otherwise, getting them involved. It's really about promoting inclusion." says event participant Shaun Evans.
