HENNING, Minn.—A teenager is hurt after being hit by a car in Henning.

It happened just before 1:00 p.m. on highway 108.

State Patrol says 16-year-old Vincent Rose of Henning got out of a car across the street from his house and was trying to cross the road.

They say he stopped for a westbound car but as he crossed the eastbound lane, he was hit by a car driven by 36-year-old Alice Olson.

Rose was taken to the hospital in Wadena but is expected to be okay.
