Central Cass receives $500,000 donation
CASSELTON - If you travel to Central Cass high school this coming spring, you will see an athletic facility that will have few peers in the state of North Dakota.
Wednesday the school received a 500 thousand dollar gift to further the renovation of Squirrel athletics.
Kenny Johnson of Johnson Farms pledged the money towards the expansion project, which includes naming rights to the baseball field.
The softball field has been completed with new sprinturf, the football field will have turf this fall and a brand new eight lane track will also debut this fall.
The school district is hoping for a turf baseball field in its next phase of the project.
