Kolpack and Izzo recap NDSU's Championship win and 2017 season

FRISCO, TX - North Dakota State won its 14th national championship Saturday with a thrilling 17-13 victory over James Madison.

The win marks the sixth title in the last seven years for the Bison, and puts them back on top of the FCS mountain.

The title also matches NDSU for the most in FCS history, Georgia Southern also won six before moving to the FBS division.

Jeff Kolpack and myself recap the game and the 2017 season with a small preview into the 2018 season.

Dom Izzo

Domenic is the Sports Director at WDAY. He comes to Fargo from WNCE-TV in Glens Falls, NY where he launched the sports department at the independent station. Before that, Domenic worked at WSTM, the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY as a photographer and live truck operator for over two years. He graduated from Oswego State University in 2002 with a degree in Broadcasting. Domenic hails from the lake effect snow capital of the world, Oswego, NY, he joined the WDAY Sports Department in September 2006.
