WDAY/WDAZ-TV -- North Dakota State has returned to the top of the FCS mountain, they were knocked off their perch for one whole year. The loss to James Madison in the semifinals spurred this team throughout spring ball and fall camp and despite double-digits in terms of injuries, the Bison found a way to get back to Frisco. FARGO -- The NDSU men's basketball team has shown greatness while giving us tons of questions in the matter of only half a season Saturday night was a great example as they started slow vs. Oral Roberts before kicking things into high gear to seal an 82-64 win, but the team know they need to start playing full games of Bison basketball

MOORHEAD -- Some of the area's best wrestlers competed in the Gadberry Classic at Moorhead high school on Saturday. Davies scored wins Jamestown and Pequot Lakes while falling to D-G-F and Grand Rapids. Central scored their only win of the day over Fargo South, who lost all four of their duals.
WDAY-TV -- It was an exciting Friday night on the ice in Fargo. Davies and South-Shanley went to overtime tied at two after two power play goals by the Bruins. Tyler Kleven would scored his fourth goal of the year in the extra frame to send the Eagles home with the win. Across town, North was hosting Central. The Spartans scored first in the second period and held a lead until midway through the third. The Knights grabbed two goals including the game winner from Lucas Kanta with 2:20 left in the game to win 2-1.
FARGO -- With just two seniors on his team, Dave Richman's young NDSU basketball squad experienced both ends of the spectrum in the first week of Summit League play. After falling to the preseason favorite SDSU Jackrabbits, the Bison rebounded with a win against the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday. The Bison held off a late rally by the Yotes to seal the victory. Going deeper into conference play, it's that kind of a resolve that Richman saw against the Coyotes, that he would like to see moving forward.
