FARGO -- It was announced on Monday that NDSU starting quarterback Easton Stick will miss at least the next two weeks with what Coach Chris Klieman describes as elbow tightness. Stick had an MRI, but showed there was no damage. He will be limited to throwing passes this month, but the attention will be on finding out who the backup to Stick will be this season. Both players behind him on the depth chart redshirted in 2017.
FARGO -- If it seems like just a couple days ago that NDSU was celebrating in Frisco you're not the only one that feels that way. As the defending champs get set to open spring ball on Wednesday, the reprecussions of a title run have caught up to the Bison. Chris Klieman announced Monday nearly that 20 players will not participate in drills over the next month while healing from injuries. There are a few big names on that list that includes Lance Dunn, Jalen Allison, Colin Conner, Aaron Steidl and Dan Marlette.
If the Philadelphia Eagles truly are entertaining trade offers for Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, Carson Wentz is doing his best to convince them to make a move. Wentz, the Eagles starting quarterback who went down with a severe knee injury in December, opening the door for Foles' heroics, apparently posted to Instagram last week a video of himself throwing.
