HILLSBORO, ND -- A West Fargo man is in jail after leading police on a high speed chase Wednesday afternoon for nearly an hour. The pursuit began after police received a gas drive off complaint around 3:30 p.m. from a Hillsboro gas station. Avoiding a ND Troopers attempt to stop, the driver, 36-year-old Thomas Hibpshman Jr. fled west on Hwy 200, leading troopers on to gravel roads in Traill County, then returning to Interstate 29 into Cass County.

Grand Forks police are searching for a man who robbed someone early Friday morning at an apartment complex built for UND students.
MINOT—Noah Figliolino has been taken into custody without incident following a shooting Thursday morning in Minot. Around 2 p.m., the Minot Police Department was called about a stolen car. The victim of the stolen car stated that he was familiar with Figliolino and believed he was the one who had taken the vehicle, according to the Minot PD press release. The release states that an arrest warrant was obtained for Figliolino for Aggravated Assault during the course of the investigation.
UPDATE: FARGO -- Local police have postponed the Press Conference after the discovery of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind. The conference is believed to be rescheduled until at least Monday afternoon. The press conference will take place at the Fargo Police Department at 11:30 p.m.
UPDATE: Fargo Police Department Chief David Todd said in a video on Facebook that a newborn infant was found at the residence where Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind was last seen, but cannot confirm at this time if the infant is Savanna's child. According to Todd, there is no information on the whereabouts of Savanna. Two people have been detained for questioning and the investigation is still ongoing.
FARGO—Traffic was backed up on Broadway in Downtown Fargo Saturday morning thanks to a train stopped on the tracks. It was stopped for over an hour around 8:30 Saturday morning. There were no emergency crews there, and no report of an accident. Witnesses say the train slammed on its break this morning to make a sudden stop. Fargo Police say they're not sure why the train didn't move Saturday morning.
CASS COUNTY—A motorcyclist has been taken to the hospital after hitting a deer in rural Cass County Saturday afternoon. According to the Sheriff's office a man who's name has not been released was riding on County Road 5 just south of Erie around 1:00 p.m. We don't have many details at this time because deputies are still trying to figure out exactly what led up to the crash. The Cass County Sheriff's office, Arthur Fire, Hunter Fire, Page Ambulance and Hunter Ambulance all responded. Stay with WDAY on this developing story.
